Traditional Feng Shui uses only five elements of nature to create
a balanced and supportive environment in a Productive Cycle.
Once an accurate qi map of a building has been completed we
can begin using the five elements of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood to enhance the positive and counter the negative
qi by creating a productive cycle.

Fire produces ash as it burns, which is returned to replenish
earth.
Fire includes burning fireplaces or candles, but since this
can be hazardous, the color red can be used. This could be a red accent piece such as a rug or pillows. A small red light,
or lamp with a red lampshade also provides a suitable Fire presence.

Earth compacts to form metal.
Earth element includes masonry, ceramic, terra cotta pots, stone
statuary. The colors of brown and yellow can also be used for the Earth element.

Metal removed from the earth allows for condensation and the
presence of water.
The element of Metal includes any metallic object. This can
be metal decorative items, filing cabinets, pails, or the colors white or gold. Some circumstances require moving metal such
as a grandfather clock or heavy metal items.

Water feeds the growth of trees and vegetation.
Water can be added by the use of table fountains, aquariums,
or the colors black or navy.

Wood provides fuel
for the production of fire.
