Mountain Star Feng Shui
What is Traditional Feng Shui and why is it practiced here
at Mountain Star?
Traditional Feng Shui is Feng Shui as developed and practiced
in China for thousands of years.
Other currently popular forms of feng shui originated here
in the western world in the 1970's. You may know these as BTB, Black Hat, or Life Aspirations feng shui
In Traditional Feng Shui, a compass must be used to determine
the sitting and facing directions of your home. In addition, the element of time must be taken into consideration. Qi is
a changing, moving entity and these changes must be tracked to apply appropriate remedies.
In other types
of feng shui, a one-size-fits-all map or baqua is placed over the floorplan of your home. Some of the non-traditional forms
do not take the passage of time into account in an analysis. TFS does not use this "cookie cutter" approach. The qi pattern
in each home or business must be mapped taking time and space (directions) into account.
TFS uses only
the Five Elements - Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood as remedies for transforming qi.
Other forms utilize
religious icons or rituals as remedies. TFS uses only the natural Five Elements to affect qi.
