1. When sleeping, your head should be toward the North? T/F
|
False. In Traditional Feng Shui, the best direction for sleeping
depends on your personal or ming gua and the layout (directions) of your home.

|
2. Windchimes should be placed inside your front entrance?
T/F
|
False. Windchimes are not used within the home. Windchimes
may be used outside for remedy of certain Annual Afflictions. You may not need any metal in the front entrance. It depends
on the Xuan Kong analysis.

3. Your front entrance determines your "Prosperity" area? T/F
|
False. The best area to encourage "Prosperity" in your home
depends on two things: the direction your house is sitting, and the Xuan Kong analysis. There is no "cookie cutter" answer
in Traditional Feng Shui. Your best Prosperity area may be in the same area as your front entrance, but not necessarily.

4.The best color to paint a front door is red? T/F
|
False. Once again, it depends on the specific qi in your home.
|
|
5. You always want Water in front and Mountain behind your home?
T/F
|
Mostly True....but there is one situation where this usually
advantageous arrangement is not a good thing. There is a Feng Shui saying "The Water Dragon will not go up the mountain,
and the Mountain Dragon will drown in the water". Very obscure sounding until you know the layout of the qi in your home.
